Class of 2015 University of South Carolina commit three-star kicker Joseph Charlton of A.C. Flora High School cues Scout.com in on his recruitment process.

In the weight room, it’s “legs, all day” for newly committed kicker Joseph Charlton.

Standing every bit of 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, this Columbia, SC-native has been heavily sought after by schools for some time.

Charlton was drawing attention even before his senior season and has had scholarships from Connecticut, South Carolina, and even North Carolina.

“Right after I committed to (South) Carolina, I had a scholarship from North Carolina. I’ve had a good recruitment process,” noted the Palmetto-State gem.

The class of 2015 commit made his decision last Monday to continue his football career as a Gamecock, after a scholarship offer from South Carolina’s special teams coordinator Joe Robinson.

As of right now, the three-star is working with is team at A C Flora High School in Columbia to prepare for the upcoming season.

“I’m really excited for punt, kick-off, and field goal. It’s going to be great. We have a great specials team this year.”
