Gilliam Could have Change of Plans

Three-star offensive tackle Nathan Gilliam from Farragut, Tenn. has announced he will make his decision on Friday, August 15, but has now been informed USC has filled his position with the commitment of OL Zack Bailey from Summerville, S.C.

Standing 6-foot-5, 275 pounds, Gilliam attended the Gamecocks showcase camp back at the end of July. There, he said Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Wake Forest were his standouts at the moment. Check out to see what the OT had to say about his visithere.

The Knoxville,Tenn.-native has had offers from several different schools, including Cincinnati, Louisville, Tennessee, and MTSU just to name a few.

As it looked, USC and Wake Forest could’ve been dead front-runners for Gilliam.

Now, with Zack Bailey’s commitment, Shawn Elliott informed the Volunteer State-athlete the Gamecocks have filled his position for the class of 2015 roster.

This past weekend, Gilliam was at Wake Forest for a visit.

And, has seen quite a bit of action from the school this past summer.
