It's Official: Davis is a Gamecock

		By Jonathan Jolley GamecockAnthem.com Date: Dec 17, 2008 South Carolina picked up a commitment from arguably the top pure football player in the state of Georgia recently when Tucker (GA) 4-star safety/linebacker Jonathan Davis gave his verbal pledge to Coach Ron Cooper and the Gamecocks. While undersized by normal standards, Davis has uncanny athleticism and heart on the football field, the combination of which makes him a force on the gridiron.
