Before Dawn Staley became one of the most decorated women’s basketball players in history, she did what so many others in her North Philly neighborhood did - she put the time in. Lots and lots of time. Hours and hours and hours of shooting jumpers, working on her handle, perfecting the passing skills that would one day make her perhaps the greatest point guard to ever play the women’s game.
