UAB offers final test before SEC play resumes

		By Rich Taylor GamecockAnthem.com Date: Sep 26, 2008 The Gamecock football team faces UAB (1-3) Saturday evening in what amounts to a final tune-up against inferior competition before resuming SEC play. How well Steve Spurrier’s bunch finishes the season will be heavily dependent on increased productivity from an inconsistent offense that has struggled to score a mere five touchdowns in their last three outings.
