The Gamecock defense was very good in their season opener, limiting the Wolfpack to no points and only 138 total yards of offense. USC defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson says his troops can do much better, and makes his case for it. Can the case be made that by season’s end this unit could be the best in the SEC?
