Maddox primed for bigger role in 2008

		By Wes Mitchell GamecockAnthem.com Date: Aug 15, 2008 When Anderson, SC native Brian Maddox arrived on campus at South Carolina last year along with the rest of the highly touted 2007 signing class, the former T.L. Hanna standout wanted to play. After a decorated prep career that saw him rush for 4,200 yards and 50 touchdowns in three seasons, six carries for 14 yards probably wasn’t what Maddox expected in his first season on the college level.
