McKinney picks the Gamecocks

Carver HS (Columbus, Ga.) OL Quincy McKinney committed to South Carolina Wednesday morning, giving the Gamecocks their 15th commitment of the 2011 class. Scout.com's Chad Simmons confirmed the news with Carver head coach Dell McGee. McKinney chose Carolina over offers from Georgia Tech, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, UNC and Tennessee among others.
Quincy McKinney
is rated the No. 44 guard in the country and a three-star prospect by Scout.com.
