Curtis Rice Casts His Lot With The Gamecocks!

He's always wanted to be a Gamecock ... and his wish just came true. Tomorrow morning Union linebacker Curtis Rice will join teammates David Smith and ...

... and possibly Eric Young in signing with the Gamecocks.

This afternoon Asst. HC Skip Holtz called Curtis Rice and offered him a full ride. Rice accepted. There is a signing ceremony planned for signing day at 11:30 at Union High School. At that time Union teammates David Smith, Rice and hopefully Young will sit down and pen their names to Letters of Intent to play for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
