Coach Eric Wolford and the Gamecocks landed the second commitment of the day and the fourth in the last week in the form of Northside HS (Warner Robins, GA) cornerback Brison Williams, according to reliable sources.

The 6-0, 180-pound Williams was a standout performer for the Northside Eagles, earning 2008 GHSA All-Middle Georgia Third-Team honors as a junior. He was evaluated in camp by the South Carolina staff.

Williams is a "difference maker" and "headhunter from the old school." according to Shine Rankin of the South Georgia Sports Network.

Williams is the tenth commitment of the Gamecocks' class of 2010.

Stay tuned to for more details on the talented, under-the-radar prospect.
