The University of South Carolina men's basketball team ended its tour of Eastern Europe on Wednesday with a 112-59 victory against the Klosterneuburg Basket Dukes in Klosterneuburg, Austria. The Gamecocks posted a 4-0 record while on the trip, ahead of Coach Darrin Horn's pre-trip expectations.

With South Carolina leading 31-22 after the first quarter, both teams hit a dry spell to start the second.

With only a Dominique Archie put-back to show after four minutes of play, Evaldas Baniulis gave the Gamecocks a spark by hitting three 3-point buckets in a row. Carolina took a 52-36 advantage into halftime.

The Gamecocks exploded in the third quarter thanks to Zam Fredrick's hot shooting hand to get things started. After going just 1-for-8 from the field in the first half, Fredrick scored 11 points within the first three minutes and went a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor. As a team, Carolina scored 17 points in less than four minutes and finished the quarter shooting 14-of-19 from the field en route to a 34-8 scoring disparity.

All 11 Gamecocks played in the contest with Devan Downey leading in points with 20. Sam Muldrow came off the bench to score 17 points by shooting 7-of-7 and he grabbed seven rebounds. Fourteen of his 17 came in the second half. Fredrick had 14 and Baniulis added 13. Archie came up just short of a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

South Carolina shot over 50 percent from the field for the third game in a row and recorded its best percentage of the four games at 53.1 (43-of-81). The Gamecocks also made 51.6 percent of their tries from 3-point land (16-of-31).

The Gamecocks depart the Hilton Vienna Danube at 9 a.m. local time Thursday for the Vienna airport.

South Carolina will take to the skies three hours later and endure an 11-hour flight to Atlanta. Following a three-hour layover in Atlanta, Carolina will depart for Columbia, S.C., and arrive just after 9 p.m. ET.
