Full transcript of video interview

GamecockAnthem – What are you looking to accomplish out here at the combine?

Curtis Dunbar – Improve on my running, route-running and all that, my speed, (and) awareness on the field.

GA – What do you think you can run in the 40 out here?

CD – I’ll get a 4.5.

GA – Switching to recruiting, what schools are coming at you right now?

CD – Duke, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Auburn.

GA – Does anybody look like they’re close to stepping forward with that offer?

CD – South Carolina, Duke, and Auburn they’re always writing me all the time.

GA – What stands out about those three schools for you?

CD – I just like their facilities. Their academic program is very nice. They’ve got good player and good coaches. I really like that.

GA – Does one of those schools stand out to you at all?

CD – I would have to say South Carolina.

GA – They’re the hometown school for you, what do you like about them?

CD – I just like the plays, and I just like the coaching. The coaching staff, they make you feel like you’re at home.

GA – What has been their recruiting pitch towards you?

CD – Just do what I’ve got to do in the classrooms and on-the-field and off-the-field is very important. And do good this season.

GA – Does playing with (teammate) Chris Payne have anything to do with that, too?

CD – Yeah, it takes part in that. He talks to the players; I talk to the players. He’s talked to the coaches for me. Sometimes I talk to the coaches. That’s got a lot to do with it.

GA – Thanks.

CD – No problem.
