Having three prospects commit this past weekend and another added on yesterday, everyone is on recruiting edge. With 24 verbal commits for the class of 2015, the time is coming for 2016 and on.
Here are just a few of the 2016 prospects to keep an eye out on that attended the Gamecock showcase camp this past weekend.
Manac attended the camp this past weekend and has several scholarship offers from schools, including South Carolina. The class of 2016 defensive end ranks at no.14 in his position on Scout and hails from Homerville, Ga. Manac has offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and others.
South Carolina shot an offer to Mecole Hardman over the weekend.
Hardman is a 2016 cornerback from Elberton, Ga. Standing at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, this Georgia-Peach will be one to keep an eye one, as well. He has scholarship offers from several schools, including Penn State, Tennessee, Clemson, Miami, and Kentucky.
Wide receiver Larry Collins is a S.C.-native with a scholarship offer from Carolina. The Lower Richland High School prospect actually has several offers on the table, including Florida State, Virginia, and Clemson.
Bryan Edwards from Conway, S.C. was quite the talk of the town. This class of 2016 wide receiver holds offers from South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Duke, and Florida. 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Edwards has a very athletic build and did extremely well at the showcase this weekend.
Quarterback Avery McCall was in attendance. The Dillon, S.C.-native had South Carolina as a front-runner earlier in the year. He has offers from Tennessee, North Carolina, LSU, East Carolina, and Clemson.
