O-D Bowl: Derrick Calloway
After the opening practice of the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, Calloway said he plans to announce his commitment during the game on Sunday. He said he will decide between Missouri, Louisville and South Florida.
He broke down what he likes most about the three schools:
On USF, "They just got new coaches, but they came from the school I go to, so they understand where I'm coming from."
On Missouri, "I have a good connection with them. They really want me."
He said Louisville also stands out because of his relationship with the coaches, particularly Charlie Strong, who just signed an extension to stay with the school.
"I really like the coaches," Calloway said. "That means [Strong's] making a big commitment. He knows the kind of team he has. That's what I need. I want coaches to be real."
As for the game, it's all about one thing for Calloway.
"I'm just looking to have fun," he said. "I treat every game the same. It's my last high school game, so fun is all I'm looking for."
