Miller set to decide soon
Miller, originally from the Bahamas, has previously visited Illinois State, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech and South Alabama before making the visit to Columbia this past weekend.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward had a good overall impression of the campus at South Carolina.
"The school and the facilities are real nice."
South Carolina recently picked up its first win over the season, an 82-75 win in overtime over Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Miller got to see the coaching style of Frank Martin live and in person.
"I think Coach Martin is wonderful coach. He really cares about his players and pushes them to be successful both on and off the court. I have a good relationship with the staff."
While here, Miller got an idea on how the South Carolina coaching staff planned to use him should he chose the Gamecocks in the future.
"I think I can come in and play multiple positions for the Gamecocks if that was to be my choice and that's how coach Martin laid it out on the table and showed me how he would use me both inside and outside!"
Miller is a very versatile forward with the capability of playing near the basket as well as playing on the outside. He starred over the summer at the adidas Invitational and really impressed scouts with his midrange shots as well as his abilities around the rim.
The early period to allow basketball recruits to sign a National Letter of Intent begins this Wednesday, November 14, 2012 and will run through November 21, 2012. Miller seems set to sign in the coming days but isn't naming any favorites among schools like South Carolina, Tulsa and Illinois State.
"Nobody is sticking out," said Miller when asked about a team, or list of teams, that should be considered his favorites. Miller also said that he's not sure which day he will sign during the early period.
Whenever Miller does sign, he knows exactly what kind of talents he'll bring to the table for the lucky team.
"I believe that I bring a lot of energy and hustle to the team. I can rebound at a high rate, I think that's strength of mine, and I also play defense. I can make shots up to the three point line and finish around the rim!"
Miller is currently unranked on the Scout.com network.
