Sindarius Thornwell picks the Gamecocks

South Carolina landed a huge commitment when five-star recruit Sindarius Thornwell announced a commitment to the Gamecocks on Monday night.

The hire of Frank Martin is already paying off huge dividends for the Gamecocks as five-star recruit Sindarius Thornwell announced a commitment to the Gamecocks on Monday evening.

Thornwell had made a recent announcement that his final two schools were South Carolina and North Carolina State. This announcement came just a few short weeks ago on September 23rd.

It didn't take Thornwell long to realize that the Gamecocks were the place for him. He made an announcement over Facebook and Twitter that he was committed to South Carolina.

This is the second recruit for the 2013 class following last week's commitment of power forward Desmond Ringer.
