South Carolina landed its second offensive line commitment from Georgia in as many days when Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Ga.) three-star commitment Alan Knott gave his pledge to Shawn Elliott.
Knott first informed Elliott on Facebook of his intentions then gave the Gamecocks' o-line coach a call around around 9:15, according to his father, Tommy Knott.

"He's been thinking a lot about committed to South Carolina in the past week," Tommy Knott said. "And he wants to play in the SEC. He really likes the coaching staff and feels like he's going to have a great opportunity to win a national championship, so he wanted to go ahead and pull the trigger."
