South Carolina is now one of six teams in the SEC to record 20 wins this season with a 69-55 victory…
WBB: Tournament watch
With just one week remaining in SEC play, given the right circumstances, as many as half the teams in the SEC can win the conference championship. One of those teams is South Carolina, but the Gamecocks need some help. Carolina would have to win out, hope Kentucky, Arkansas, and Georgia lose an additional game, and Tennessee would have to lose twice.
Not likely to happen.
Carolina's main goal is to get into that top four in the SEC standings to get the first round bye in the SEC Tournament, and they got a little help Sunday from Florida. The Gators knocked off 18th-ranked Georgia to move them back into the pack of teams with identical conference records. LSU and Arkansas both won, so there is now a four-way tie for third with Georgia, LSU, Arkansas, and Carolina. Should Vanderbilt defeat Kentucky Monday night, the Commodores would make it a five-way tie for third.
As of right now, the Gamecocks have lost to all three teams it is tied with, so they are still the sixth seed. Georgia remains the third seed with a 2-0 record but will play LSU to finish the season, LSU moves up to the fourth with a 2-1 record, and Arkansas drops to fifth with a 2-2 record.
Tennessee remains the top seed with its win Sunday and Kentucky is 0.5 game back. The other tie is for eleventh between Ole Miss and Alabama. Alabama remains in eleventh due to its win over Kentucky.

NCAA Tournament watch
With Sunday's win South Carolina cemented their bid to the NCAA Tournament. Even if the Gamecocks lose their final two games and the first round game in the SEC Tournament, it's hard to believe South Carolina would be left out. Now it appears that all Carolina can do is improve its standing to get a higher seed. Right now Carolina is likely a 7-10 seed
