South Carolina redshirt freshman offensive lineman Tramell Williams has decided to transfer to Alabama State. The 6-foot, 299-pound center had offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, Stanford, UCLA, Cal, Illinois, Indiana, Southern Miss and Vanderbilt out of high school.

After sending out what appeared to be a mass text, Williams replied, "just not the place for me, not working out. Going to Alabama State."

A second source confirmed that Williams is leaving.

Williams also tweeted: "I've enjoyed my time here its been fun gamecock fans. But its time too move on..... Alabama bound"
