Lithonia (Ga.) three-star LB Cedrick Cooper was scheduled to announce today at 2 p.m. but the Gamecocks' got good news earlier than expected when he signed with South Carolina before 10 a.m. Cooper is the 33rd commitment of the class and one of the final pieces of the puzzle. He chose South Carolina over Ole Miss and Arkansas among others.
