Anderson, Roberts are Gamecocks

It was a long time coming, but McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.)TE Rory Anderson and LB Marcquis Roberts pulled the trigger on a commitment to South Carolina during a ceremony at their school today. Both prospects had offers from Cincinnati, South Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, West Virginia and Wisconsin among others with Anderson also earning a Tennessee tender.

The duo was recruited to South Carolina by G.A. Mangus.

Anderson is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 29 TE in the nation while Roberts is a three-star prospect and the No. 100 OLB in the nation.
